Diamond Blades Depot

Diamond blades give you cleaner cuts and longer life than abrasive blades when cutting concrete, masonry, brick, block, and hardscape. We stock segmented, turbo, and continuous-rim diamond blades in sizes for handheld saws, walk-behind saws, and circular saws.

Why diamond

Diamond blades use a matrix of diamond particles bonded to the edge. They cut by grinding rather than tearing, which means less heat, less wear, and a cleaner edge. For concrete and masonry they are the professional standard.

Types

  • Segmented – Best for dry cutting and aggressive work. Segments allow cooling and chip clearance. Ideal for concrete with rebar.
  • Turbo – Serrated rim for smoother cutting, often used with water. Good for brick, block, and hard tile.
  • Continuous rim – Smooth edge, minimal chipping. Used for tile, stone, and materials where a clean edge matters.

Sizing

Match the blade diameter and arbor to your saw. Common sizes include 4-1/2", 7", 10", 12", and 14". Depth of cut depends on diameter—larger blades cut deeper in a single pass.

FAQ

What is the difference between segmented and turbo diamond blades?
Segmented blades have gaps between segments for cooling and debris removal; they cut fast and are ideal for dry cutting and concrete with rebar. Turbo blades have a serrated rim that cuts smoothly and is often used for wet cutting and hard materials like brick and block.
How long does a diamond blade last?
Lifespan depends on the material, feed rate, and whether you use water. A quality diamond blade can last many times longer than an abrasive blade when used correctly. Avoid forcing the cut and let the blade do the work.
Can I use a diamond blade on a circular saw?
Yes. Many diamond blades are designed for 7-1/4" circular saws (skill saws). Ensure the arbor size matches and that the saw's RPM is within the blade's rating. Use appropriate safety gear and consider dust control.
What is a diamond grout removal blade?
A diamond grout removal blade is designed for removing grout between tiles, often used in an oscillating multi-tool or a grout removal tool. It has a diamond-coated edge that lasts longer than abrasive blades when cutting through hard grout and thin mortar. Choose a blade that fits your tool's mounting system (e.g. Starlock or OIS).
What is a diamond grinding blade?
A diamond grinding blade (or cup wheel) is used on an angle grinder to grind down concrete, masonry, or stone surfaces—leveling high spots, removing coatings, or preparing surfaces. It uses diamond segments in a cup or disc shape. Use one rated for your material (concrete, masonry) and for dry or wet use. Wear a respirator and eye protection when grinding.
